After graduated from the Malaysian Institute of Art, Dua studied in the Dept. of Fine Arts of National Taiwan Normal University in 2012, he was attracted by ceramic art and started a new artistic career.

他早期毕业于马来西亚艺术学院，2012年就读台湾国立师范大学美术系研究所时接触陶艺，展开另一条创作之路。

His creation is also a dialectical process of cultural and personal identity. The cross-cultural background of artist become synthesis of the creative formation; from Chinese culture to Malaysian indigenous Mah Meri’s ceremonies, Malay mythology and epic of Ramayana（1）, Mahabharata（1）as well as Siva of Trimuti（2）, which have the huge influence in Southeast Asia among ancient Asian civilization. The Austronesian and Taiwanese Totem element become the combinations in the following series.

其创作亦是文化身份认同的辩证过程，以跨文化的异种元素作为创作题材，将中华文化，影响东南亚的古印度史诗及叁相神，结合马来西亚原住民玛美里的祭仪、南岛语系与台湾图腾。
