Exhibited Artworks
This collection of works are inspiration from the pietra paesina also called ruiniform or Florentine marble, a type of limestone which when cut into slabs and polished, reveals mountainous landscapes, castles and ruins. These works of art combine the fascination of imaginary worlds with the precious qualities of oil on canvas suggesting original shapes and a range of colours reflecting nature in its never-ending work. This series is the starting point for the artist to create the theme of stone and landscape.
